HI, I'M ALEF

I'm the founder of the Handpan Temple.

This instrument came into my life over 10 years ago and completely changed me. It taught me how to break through limiting beliefs, connect with myself, and find true self-expression through music.

What I discovered is that the handpan is a powerful musical instrument & a tool for healing. I have learnt that when you sit with it and start to explore the basics, like touch, scales, and simple techniques, it unlocks the freedom to play whatever you feel.

That’s the journey I’d love to share with you in this workshop. It’s all about giving you the confidence and tools to express yourself, so you can create music that’s uniquely yours.

Through these courses, I won’t teach you to play my music or replicate my style. Instead, I will share tools that empower you to find your own voice on the handpan. This journey is about helping you connect deeply with the instrument, so you can express your unique self and create music that is truly your own.

Each student will receive a detailed PDF workbook that complements the workshop content. Divided into chapters, the workbook follows the same structure as the workshop, making it easy to revisit key concepts and exercises.
